AREC 2007 will tackle one of the hardest and often neglected issues in regional development - How do we grow local businesses! The conference will feature inspirational keynotes from industry experts such as Dr John Keniry AM and Dr Phil Burgess (Telstra), as well as workshops and panel discussions featuring the nations best examples of business, industry and community development. On top of all that there will be trade and poster displays, casual and formal networking opportunities, and the beautiful Port Macquarie region to explore!

This event follows the success of the previous conferences in Noosa Heads QLD (August 2003) and Mandurah WA (March 2005), and will build upon the outcomes of those events. It is designed to provide the latest in theory as well as practical solutions for practitioners, and is targetted to:
